Pros

You will have the ability to schedule your day. If you need to go to the doctor or PTA meeting its flexable. If you have never done route sales/service, it's a good way to learn a lot FAST. You will learn how to be the owner of a business minue the reward of salary increases.

Cons

Too much work for one person. You will need to have monthly reports, weekly reports and daily check-in on your numbers. You are expected to stay at 100% call coverage, 100% new account sales, 100% collection calls because the products cost too much, 100% new account installs, 100% no-returns, 100% budget which means selling customers what they don't need to meet the quotas. You are on call 24/7, and if your not in a social click you will find it hard to take more than one day off work. The company is very sales focused without formal sales training. The dynamics are not in your favor unless you enjoy doing repairs every day. Most of the repairs are learn as you go. You are expected to repair dishmachines and sale two new accounts per month. You must sales the accounts, install the accounts and service the accounts. You make 6% of every dollar sold. You may sale an item that cost $300 and for that item you will make $18.00 and you will spend two hours in the account doing your normal job and then installing the item.

Pros

A job and make some money

Cons

Everything. You are on your own to sink or swim. If you have a family or a life outside of work you and kiss them goodbye because you will never see them again. You will drive 5 hour one way and work 9 hours in the hot sun with only a 30 minute lunch break and then drive 5 hours back home only to have to do it again the next day which is only a few more hours.
