Work-from-home environment, which has been the only positive aspect of working here
Cons
The benefits package is not very competitive compared to similar companies. In addition, there have been frequent rounds of layoffs during my time here, and the reasoning behind many of the decisions has been difficult to understand. Highly capable leaders have been let go while some underperforming or unnecessary leadership roles remain.
The most recent layoff round included my manager, who was an excellent leader and a strong advocate for our team. Losing that level of leadership has been discouraging and has created a lot of uncertainty. It’s unclear how some of these decisions are being made or what the long-term leadership strategy is.
Because of this, I’m currently reconsidering my long-term future with the company, as the recent changes have raised concerns about stability and leadership direction.
