Pros
working in the office of research and development, and being in a national laboratory provides a lot of opportunities and helps in many aspects. Even if you are not participating in other projects, you can easily learn about them. Flexible working hours, 4 days, 10 hours a day, 3 day weekends.
Cons
Very bureaucratic, as expected. Many hours wasted on transition between systems. Old and outdated equipment.
