Pros
Great benefits, great work life balance, very easy going office culture. Most people here really "walk-the-walk" when it comes to environmentalism. Very mission oriented people. About half the staff are hard working, the rest get paid to show up! Looks good on resume.
Cons
Resource constraints mean managers are not willing to let the best employees go on detail /temporary assignments (even though they themselves go often). No accountability for actions. Very stove-piped/silo organizational structure. Older workforce is very resistant to change and new ideas.
