Good place to learn, but you won't stay here too long if you want to continue to grow. - Project Manager/Implementation Consultant Epic Employee Review

Pros

Autonomy early on; develop transferable skills; good benefits (pay, health insurance, campus/offices, travel perks). Madison is an easy city (significantly better in the summer!).

Cons

Poor leadership with no transparency; struggles influencing change if you are not part of the leadership group. Long term outlook is not great - if you want to do the same thing forever, then you'll have a good future here, but if you want to grow and try new things, you'll likely max out your time here by the two year mark. Perhaps the toughest part of working at Epic is that the focus is on keeping customers happy at the expense of Epic's employees. Epic is running a business, and needs to keep customers satisfied, but Epic also needs to hold customers accountable and help them grow, instead of having the implementation staff do everything for them.
