Ie. deadlines are often swept aside because a higher up will drop a last minute addition that makes great business sense in their mind, but at significant cost to those who actually have to act upon the sudden changes. Occasional drills are to be expected in any company, but it's guaranteed to happen for any project at any stage of time for the Marketing Department.
