Pros

- Nicer people compared to other companies - You get to rotate around a lot if you perform well (the same can't be said for all other companies of similar size) - Work/life balance is great for the most part (except for when you're assigned side projects on top of your regular work, for which you don't get extra pay) - Great benefits - Lots of resources for personal/skills development if you know where to look

Cons

- Not able to pave your own career path even if you are a top performer; it's more about work politics than what the employee really wants. - Salary structure is set up in a way where the pay for people in the same team may vary greatly. Feels kind of unfair to see older employees who are not so competent & are assigned less work get paid considerably more - Ranking system allows room for lots of bias on the rankers' part - Most of my managers are more focused on impressing their bosses than actually doing their job well (another flaw of the ranking system). I've seen cases where they don't address major issues (at the expense of subordinates like us) until their bosses take notice of something wrong happening.

Pros

Good opportunities for networking and travel.

Cons

A significant HR issue between interns occurred during my internship and was handled very poorly. Once the matter came to HR’s and leadership’s attention, it was not officially resolved until months after the internship had ended. The VP privately apologized for the situation, but the overall response was inadequate and felt as though the situation was being swept under the rug. The lack of timely communication and follow-up created a very uncomfortable environment for a young intern and significantly impacted what was otherwise a positive internship experience.
