Pros

Good work and life balance and many opportunities and open doors for you if you show that you are truly interested to grow and be part of the company. Values life-long employments so long-years of service awards are very good and most employees tend to stay for a very long time. It is a very self selective environment/culture wherby if you are willing to spend alot of time on doing on job, then this is the place for you. But if you want to explore many different kinds of jobs before settling, then this is not the right place even thought they give opportunity for horizontal promotions, it does take atleast 2 yr for each movement.

Cons

Takes time to get promoted as many employees in the lower levels fighting for positions in the next level. Also, you are more or less confined within the department you choose to work in as you have to spend atleast 2 yrs before even getting a chance for promotion even if you are the top talent. This may not fare well for many espacially for the new generations that wishes for quick career advancement if they are top talent. Company has lost many good people due to this so hopefully they have done something to try to retain their top talent, perhaps a fast track route for them?

Pros

Good pay and a pension

Cons

Everything else. Benefits are lackluster, Flex Your Day policies are elusive. The company changes everything all the time so that a large portion of your time is spent finding new links to things on the portal, figuring out who to contact in various departments and in what country just to get a simple answer to a question. No one stays in the same role long enough to get good at their job. Morale is terrible.
