Pros
The work/life balance is very good although that can vary by department. Management will listen to feedback and there is a system in place to gather that information from the whole company. Wages are very good, especially at HQ where the cost of living is low. There is a great deal of security, only once have there been layoffs and those were relatively minor. There have been voluntary buyouts over the years allowing some people to take a bonus for leaving.
Cons
Wages, although good, have been stagnant for several years. Travel has been dramatically cut. Too much money goes to pilot salaries. Internal job opportunities have become scarce.
