Pros
We were WFH for the last 4 years, but thats ending. My direct manager is a joy, and despite remote work, my team works really well together and supports each other
Cons
Health benefits are poor. Raises are not merit based, and dont match cost of living increases. Overtime can be mandatory and fedex isnt hiring enough workers to replace retirees and those who leave. The stress can be overwhelming to meet standards with little support from Corporate. They are integrating into “one ecr” and all remote workers are returning to office. The commute/gas money will negate the raise this year, which was already negated by health cost increases. Definitely keeping an eye out for a new opportunity after ten years in my chair here.
