Enjoyed teaching at my alma mater. Appreciated partial scholarship for children to attend.
Cons
Focus was on getting money and student satisfaction over quality of education. Subtle to outright retaliation by other faculty if students were caught cheating and held accountable. Program focus was to give students A and B grades and keep everyone happy rather than to provide them a proper education. Many students graduated with inadequate skills and knowledge but high grade point averages as many professors gave out little homework and high grades. Adjunct faculty had to write classes for free to keep their jobs when it was the tenure-track faculties' responsibility. The tenure-track faculty claimed they wrote the classes and got paid for them.
