Supportive team culture, comprehensive benefits, good work/life balance, they value lived experience, fast personal and career growth, a strong sense of purpose, thorough training.
Cons
Stressful at times, can impact personal recovery if one isn't solid, emotionally demanding, requires strong boundaries
Management works with support staff collaboratively and takes advice. Changes and improvements happen quickly to ensure that the best possible care is given to our residents and clients. Employees enjoy a 36 hour work week, some staff work four 9s, HSS staff work 3 12s and I love having four days off work. There are night and day shifts available which makes it super convenient for school. My supervisors have been great about providing me with references for school too. They actually encourage you to use your PTO which is new for me, I've always worked for companies that are stingy with time off. There are always opportunities to apply for different positions in the company and move up that's what you're looking for. Overall, I really enjoy working with them.
Cons
So many meetings and trainings! But I guess that means they want us to be our best and are big on communication, which are also pros.
