Pros

I have long term relationships here, over 12 years, familiarity in my job, pretty good customers

Cons

The company pays us to get better reviews, we really don't grow any longer and blame our faults on the pandemic and other things. We had a great president who has some big criticisms here but he was the best, he merged all of our companies together which was the hardest job ever and we grew like crazy under him. he was a leader and dealt with some horrible people that you know are behind the reviews of him. Many of us miss him as he was honest, extremely hard working and always had a smile on his face. He taught many of us accountability and would never pay for a review. Our current leadership does this, especially our current president and head of human resources, its hard to watch and our door continues to be revolving. I wish our new CEO could help us, we need great leadership again like we had 5 years ago

We appreciate the efforts and commitment from previous leaders that established FirstService as BC'S leading Property Management firm. Our goal is to build a fantastic place to work, with engaged people who can develop and grow. Many investments have been made in our people over the past couple of years that were overdue, and we are proud of this investment in change. We're always happy to discuss how you can benefit from these changes - we encourage you to connect with your Manager to get the conversation started.

Pros

Great Support. Great management. Lots of vendor perks.

Cons

Very long hours. Must work to learn about all full cycle of audits, landscape, accounting, paving, reserve funding, public speaking, basic law, and keep current with new changes in HOA practices

Pros

They take good care of the office people

Cons

Field workers are second hand citizens. Nepotism by language. Promote people that don't have the skill sets to do the job. The people that have the common sense to be leadership at this point don't want the responsibility anymore. What does that say?
