Pros

Flowserve allows you to stand on your own feet. Very flexible with minimum supervision with your managers. The sole ability to learn with mistakes is crucial for growth and development.

Cons

Managers have a "pass the buck" attitude. The chance for applying your ideas are often overlooked by your superiors

Difficulty working in silos across facilities due to systems being different and not integrated into common system upon mergers.

A lot of good people working here.

Cons

Outsourcing too much design work to India and running with too little design and engineering staff in Kalamazoo. Quality is really suffering at the expense of speed. Nexus is a really poor PLM system. It has hurt productivity significantly and caused employees immense frustration.
