Pros

The people are mostly great and very helpful. The office is nice. Hybrid work.

Cons

Can’t trust leadership (particularly CEO). He always says something then makes actions to contradict this. Culture has really declined with rounds of redundancy (without warning we lost really great people who were integral to culture and diversity plus sadly people who were sole providers to their families, pregnant, in vulnerable positions). As a small company where c suite really know the employees it felt heartless) . It feels like a lot of people they kept were just because they have been with the company too long and is cheaper to make new people redundant or they are friends with execs. Leadership definitely have their favourites. Company and product vision is all over the place. Employees feel uneasy about what is next to come.

Pros

Truly "flexy" work style. When they say to make your own hours they truly mean it, nobody cares when you work so long as you're reasonably available. Pretty good benefits for the US, such as four weeks vacation and a BCBS health plan. Kind and fun-loving colleagues around the globe are a pleasure to spend time with. Excellent culture of continual improvement and learning, people actively solicit and listen to the ideas and feedback of their peers.

Cons

Working across the globe can make for long days (but you certainly can take breaks). Typical scale-up issues of never having the time to do all that needs to get done (but at least it's never boring!).
