      Great technology that is easy to sell, descent money and nice people

      Unfortunately I agree with the previous comments that have been made about the situation at the BDR department in Reading. Unapproachable and unhelpful management style from the BDR Management in the Reading office combined with bulling attitude is creating a toxic atmosphere at work. Many compliments have been made to local HR but nothing has been resolved. The BDR staff are getting very good work results and deserve better treatment and a better working environment. The management style is constantly inappropriate, offensive and intrusive, and not constructive. This attitude does not gel with the reputation of the company.

      Pros

      Solid, stable, predictable. Most people are out of the office by 4 or 5 pm. Life is easy and expectations are low.

      Cons

      Little support for marketing. Fortinet has too many products and too many product lines - and every product owner is fighting for attention of sales. The company is firmly wedded to it's hardware roots. Fortinet has not invested in internal systems. Reporting is awkard and cumbersome, and adaption on enterprise AI is still a long ways off. There are no women in senior roles.
