Pros
They were top notch during the years of 2011-2014. Local managers were local who drew families to the locations. Also, TFH was well respected by most of the area church leaders. Florida was not heavy handed but supported the area locations. FPG was 1, while Stewart was 2, and SCI ranked 3 in the marketplace in volume. It is not that way in 2020-2023.
Cons
Market generated big dollars. Someone made a decision to squeeze the locations from flower sales, memorial packages, cutting vacations/time off, even questioning cash advances. That was one of the contributors for talented funeral directors seeking to leave for other companies. The so called bonuses were realigned to reward a small few at the expense of those who brought in the families.
