Pros

- The people here are amazing! I interned here then decided to return because of how personable and genuine the GEPers were! you can always ask anyone in the office any question and not feel bad about it - The work culture really show that the company cares about its employees - Hybrid work schedule gives a lot of flexibility - Mentors and leaders really care about your growth and experience - Firm building activities help you get to know other employees and make an impact on your community! We do volunteer activities, guest speakers, coffee chats, fundraisers, etc!! - You get a lot of responsibility from the start and the learning curve is really tough but you learn a lot from the beginning! - Launchpad was really fun (1 week training period when you first start as an intern and as a full-time employee). We do training in Clark, NJ, they take us out to dinner every night and plan fun activities throughout the week - this company is so diverse and I love that! It is so inclusive and you get to meet so many different perspectives similar to college! - you get a pretty good work-life balance considering that you work in consulting. Of course it depends on the project, but most people have a regular 9-5

Cons

- Focus on procurement might be limiting, though it does allow you to become knowledgeable of the P2P, S2C, sourcing and procurement processes quickly - some projects can be longer for a consulting project, so you might not get to move between different clients as often

Pros

Inclusive, supportive culture: GEP genuinely fosters an inclusive and diverse environment. As a trans individual, I feel fully supported, comfortable being out at work, and consistently gendered correctly by colleagues and leadership. Strong sense of community: The people are what make GEP special. There is a real sense of belonging and mutual respect that is rare in consulting. Exposure to complex, global work: Opportunities to work with global teams and large, sophisticated clients accelerate professional growth. Learning and development: You gain broad consulting experience across industries, categories, and geographies, which builds strong foundational skills. Mission-driven colleagues: Many people at GEP care deeply about their work, their teams, and doing the right thing for clients.

Cons

Fast-paced, high expectations: Like most consulting firms, the workload can be intense, with periods of long hours and tight deadlines. Career progression can vary: Growth opportunities and pacing may depend on project mix, leadership support, and timing. Process maturity: Some internal processes and tools are still evolving, which can occasionally create inefficiencies. Work-life balance can fluctuate: Balance is highly project-dependent and may be challenging during peak delivery periods.
