9yThank you for your review. We greatly appreciate learning more about the areas in which our employees think we can improve. Attracting and retaining brilliant people in this competitive market has and will always be a high priority for Genentech. The feedback you, and other employees like you, leave in your Glassdoor reviews helps us do so. We agree that the cost of living in the Bay Area has been steadily increasing in recent years. To respond to that reality, this is a prioritized topic at the highest levels of leadership. As with any complex situation, we may not see immediate changes but it is certainly a topic being taken very seriously. Thanks again for your feedback.
