Pros
Most of the Colleagues are friendly and supportive.
Cons
1. Lack of clarity around strategic goals and priorities. 2. Presence of politics across departments with no leadership transparency. 3. Limited room for advancement and a lack of recognition or appreciation for hard work. 4. Instability in marketing leadership with the removal of many senior leaders and their teams. 5. Absence of a training/onboarding process for new hires and inadequate documentation. 6. Regular layoffs occurring without notice, leading to a lack of job security. Personal experience of being laid off just before the holiday without any prior notice, contrary to the company's claimed core value of "Empathy." 7. Incompetent managers in their respective areas often manipulate business metrics. - Lack of a clear vision results in repetitive tasks for direct reports, euphemistically referred to as "pivoting." - Discouragement of cooperation across departments, with a tendency to conceal information for personal benefit. - Disregard for individual career development, coupled with an unwillingness to take responsibility and a tendency to blame others. 8. Last thing, and most importantly - When evaluating the reviews here, it's crucial to approach the overall rating of 4 (sometimes 4+) with a critical eye. Break down the feedback into different demographics to identify nuanced patterns. - Pay attention to the number of 5-star reviews contributed by current employees with less than one year of tenure. Note that new hires are often requested to submit reviews on Glassdoor through the welcome letter.
