Pros

The people are very dedicated at working toward helping students. Students are the primary reason that many of them are there. They could have taken jobs where there are better opportunities, pay and other things, but these people are there to help the students. Atlanta is also a really nice place to work as it is right in the perfect weather area in the south. The weather is good and the people are generally nice. Atlanta is also really good place to do really interesting things. There are museums, shows and the sports venues. Finally, there are many places to go hiking.

Cons

Georgia tech is not the best place in the world if you want to increase ones profile and advance in one's profession. Georgia Tech is also not the best places for communication. The communication between the different departments at the university is less than mediocre. There is a constant sense that everyone exists in their own little shell without any regard to the other departments. Within the departments everything works well enough, but in between, there is little communication. Many people think that working at the university would be a good way to communicate educators, but the campus is too large for that kind of communication.
