Pros

GA Tech has excellent benefits, flex time including telecommuting ( in IT dept), family oriented environment, time off for children and family is not a problem, practice of hiring within

Cons

Communication between management and employees need improvement, Manatory 5% for retirement is deducted from salary (note this mandate applies to all school/colleges in the University System of Georgia)

Pros

- Free Housing - Meal Plan - One of the better on campus job for students in my opinion (still able to be involved in other activities as a student on campus)

Cons

- Duty part of the job (Being on call and getting late night lock outs but this is rare), and definitely can still do homework in between doing duty rounds - experience can also depend on your hall director / area (but regardless still served on great RA teams, can be great if you have a co-ra but also been good at time being a single RA on the floor (no need to coordinate schedule if you do events together as a single RA unless you alternate events with your co)
