Pros

Georgia Tech is well set up to take in external money and process it properly. School chairs are very willing to go out of there way to make it work for you. Generally you can set your own schedule

Cons

Salary was low. Insurance is poor. While you can set your own schedule, they often demand long hours.

Pros

- Free Housing - Meal Plan - One of the better on campus job for students in my opinion (still able to be involved in other activities as a student on campus)

Cons

- Duty part of the job (Being on call and getting late night lock outs but this is rare), and definitely can still do homework in between doing duty rounds - experience can also depend on your hall director / area (but regardless still served on great RA teams, can be great if you have a co-ra but also been good at time being a single RA on the floor (no need to coordinate schedule if you do events together as a single RA unless you alternate events with your co)
