Pros

Interesting research and some legitimately caring people

Cons

Georgia Tech takes part in the usual exploitation of graduate students as the workhorses behind research, without any of the benefits to protect graduate students. Despite working 40+ hour weeks, Georgia Tech makes us always register ourselves as part-time (1/3rd time).

Pros

- Free Housing - Meal Plan - One of the better on campus job for students in my opinion (still able to be involved in other activities as a student on campus)

Cons

- Duty part of the job (Being on call and getting late night lock outs but this is rare), and definitely can still do homework in between doing duty rounds - experience can also depend on your hall director / area (but regardless still served on great RA teams, can be great if you have a co-ra but also been good at time being a single RA on the floor (no need to coordinate schedule if you do events together as a single RA unless you alternate events with your co)
