Pros

Decent pay for part-time student, learn valuable skills, regularly train in life saving and swimming, meet lots of other fun people, see/work big events (duel in the pool/winter nationals), flexible scheduling. Loved my time there obviously.

Cons

Early start for morning shift can be difficult. It can be a little slow when theres one person swimming laps and you're on stand but that's only 20 min at a time. there was no employee parking at CRC so I had to park in my designated area on campus which wasn't so bad for me but I can see that being an issue depending on your parking pass. I'm honestly thinking hard trying to come up with something more significant. No real cons.

Pros

- Free Housing - Meal Plan - One of the better on campus job for students in my opinion (still able to be involved in other activities as a student on campus)

Cons

- Duty part of the job (Being on call and getting late night lock outs but this is rare), and definitely can still do homework in between doing duty rounds - experience can also depend on your hall director / area (but regardless still served on great RA teams, can be great if you have a co-ra but also been good at time being a single RA on the floor (no need to coordinate schedule if you do events together as a single RA unless you alternate events with your co)
