Pros

This is a great place to gain corporate experience. You will learn to adapt to change and work with different leadership styles. Being salaried brings peace of mind, and the pay is generous for what the role requires.

Cons

Speaking only from my experience in Service Recruiting, the company culture changed a lot during my time there. The environment I walked into was not the same environment I left. When I first joined in a different department, the culture felt warm and people focused. Over time, that feeling faded. Communication was inconsistent, expectations shifted often, and the sense of stability that once existed slowly disappeared. It started to feel like staying in good graces mattered more than collaboration or honest conversation. Sharing different ideas did not always feel welcome. The culture also began to feel divided. It sometimes felt like cliques were forming. Whether you were included or excluded had a real impact on how your ideas were received. Work life balance was also difficult. There were times when being away for PTO or personal reasons did not feel fully respected, and the pressure to maintain productivity during those times was discouraging. Morale in my area declined steadily. It became clear that priorities had shifted, and decisions often felt driven more by numbers and appearances than by people.

Pros

Goosehead offers a supportive work environment with plenty of upward mobility. I started my career here about 4 years ago and have had the opportunity to develop 20+ agents and help launch expansion offices.

Cons

Not applicable…Goosehead offers a multitude of resources for support.

Pros

The role offers a lot of variety through travel, building relationships, and working closely with agents to help them grow their business. It's rewarding to see the impact you can have on someone's success, and leadership is supportive of new ideas and professional development. There are also plenty of opportunities to continue growing within the company.

Cons

The travel schedule can be busy at times, and balancing time in the field with administrative work takes good organization. Like any fast paced role, priorities can change quickly, so flexibility is important!
