Pros

There are some very nice and talented people here who deserve much better. The paychecks don't bounce. That's about it.

Cons

Where to begin. First, if you look at the history of reviews on this site, it's all one star reviews, five years of silence, and then all of a sudden a ton of four and five star reviews start popping up. That was when management assigned the staff to write positive reviews at one of the town hall meetings. "The Best in the West"? "On the Rise!"? Pure astroturf. Seriously, guys, your brief is showing. I especially like how all the "cons" aren't really cons at all. Like when a interviewer asks you to name one of your flaws, and you say "sometimes I work too hard." You know, humble bragging BS. Here's the truth. The president is in way over his head and is a terrible leader. He's the kind of guy who so desperately wants to be cool, but never was and never will be. Thinks he knows creative but doesn't. How bad of a leader is he? He thought having fake reviews for his agency would be a good idea. And he met Curt Detweiler, and then still hired him. The CCO (Curt) is a hack who has failed upward his whole career, surviving on bluster and force of personality alone. HIs reputation is garbage. You know how some people are difficult personalities, but you can usually find someone who likes them? I have yet to meet the person who knows Curt and likes him. As long as those two are in charge, nothing good will happen there.

Pros

Very friendly and welcoming environment, they have a "no a-holes' policy and it's true. The push to be the most creative is supported in hands on work with the C Suite being very involved. CEO is very smart, very personable and approachable. She's doing a lot to help culture. Strong accounts team that is very present.

Cons

Limited growth opportunities for creative as there is a full roster. Pitches can be brutal, with a lot of moving targets that could be fixed by the C Suite alignments before the work begins. Account team can have too much control over creative at times, kill ideas too quickly.
