      Pros

      As a place to work, Guidepoint Global has a relatively relaxed environment. And in a niche research business that is under regulatory scrutiny, it is nice to have a job.

      Cons

      As equity research firms go, Guidepoint undervalues and underpays it's employees, in comparison to comparable firms in the industry. Further, firm strategy seems lacking at best. Morale is low across the firm, from top to bottom, and has been for years.

      the only pros are the salary and two hybrid days

      Cons

      Do not take a job with Guidepoint, even if you were a strong student in college and consider yourself a hard worker. The project managers are fine, but the team leads are awful. You won’t learn any tangible skills; the work largely consists of reaching out to people on LinkedIn for hours on end. On top of that, they will let people go very easily. Stay away from this company.
