Pros

I have been able to move around 7 different roles in 3 countries over 11 years in HP Inc. From product quality, to sales transformation, to eCommerce, Wearables Incubation and CTO Vision team. If you are confident, perform well and seek out new challenges, HP Inc brings amazing career opportunities. I have been paid well and Managers get a generous bonus (based on company performance)

Cons

Pockets of HP can have a lot of politics, where it is more important to make sure people are happy than to get your job done. Most of the managers I have had have been poor at giving constructive feedback on growth opportunities for my career.

Pros

Worked on large scale lifecycle marketing programs with millions of customers. Strong cross functional collaboration with product, analytics, creative, and development teams. Exposure to sophisticated marketing technology and automation tools. Opportunity to test, optimize, and learn from high volume campaigns. Well established processes and resources that supported execution and growth.

Cons

Large organization could make decision making and approvals slower. Less flexibility to move quickly compared to smaller companies. Multiple stakeholders sometimes created competing priorities. More specialized roles meant less ownership outside your defined responsibilities. Changes often required navigating complex processes and dependencies.

Pros

Good working culture. It falls a little prey to acting like we're a family and not a business, but at least it doesn't pretend "we work hard, we play hard".

Cons

ELT and upper management have zero vision for the company besides desperately trying to pull up stock prices. Company continues to make deep long-term sacrifices for short term gains, that barely rise above the performance of our competitors. Benefits weaken each year. Example: CVS Caremark now handles RxD insurance, and CVS Caremark is incompetent and exploitative.
