Pros

Easy, laid-back, pairs well with college, most guests are nice and enjoyable.

Cons

Hours, working nights, management, can be dangerous working alone at night, responsible for the entire hotel during night shift if you are the only person working, can be very boring, can become fatigued mentally working night shift, sometimes have to work days and nights, open 365 days a year, the pay is terrible for the responsibilities.

Pros

•It was a paycheck •A lot of alone time •A few nice coworkers

Cons

• High costs to have health insurance despite low pay. • A lot of immaturity, toxicity, and backstabbing amongst management and coworkers. • Favoritism; some get promoted despite grossly not satisfying metrics but because their mother is friends with the manager they are promoted. • Immature young lead housekeepers who have no social skills and are poor trainers. • They make you memorize the mission statement and punish you if you don't.
