Pros

The health insurance package offered is okay. Some hotels do not offer any benefits at all.

Cons

Be prepared to work a 3p-11p, then come in the next morning at 7am. Or have different days off each week. Company won't pay overtime unless you work 40 hours within THEIR defined work week, which begins on a Saturday and ends on a Friday. You could end up working 10 days in a row with no overtime. Additionally, working a double shift doesn't give overtime pay unless it put you over 40 hours that work week. During the slow periods, they will cut everyone's hours fast, rather than reduce profits for the hotel owner. This is your typical wage slave, service sector job so if you are desperate, there are probably far worse places to work.
