Travel is 100%. It is taxing and not for everyone. Be aware of this and that there is little room for flexibility based on your project.
Huron was one of the Arthur Andersen spinoffs and it is still incredibly evident internally. Their internal systems are falling apart - requiring internet explorer, paper forms and being passed around internally from person to person because of a lack of process - shameful for a process consultancy. There is very little communication from the top and very few attempts at developing team or practice cultures. Diversity, equity and inclusiveness is not a priority for the firm. IT has been outsourced and is incredibly ineffective at solving basic issues. After resigning, I have had multiple separate issues with Finance and HR that I am still needing to follow-up on, months later. As a simple example, the organization failed to cancel my corporate AMEX. I'm disappointed to write on Glassdoor about a generally good firm, but their internal systems and processes are so behind the times and an important flag for candidates and potential clients.
