Pros

No pros to mention in my experience.

Cons

1) Business processes are extremely manual, do expect a huge amount of manual data entry through excel. (Am talking about a lot, some spreadsheets have more than 15 tabs) 2) Systems they use are old, when you launch their programmes, it’s still using windows XP UI. Company is not re investing into upgrading softwares, CRM or ERP that are being used. No use of globally recognised softwares such as Salesforce, Oracle or SAP. Report generation is extremely time sensitive. 3) Company’s focus is on driving margins and not focusing on growth. 4) Unrealistic expectations. Was only in the company for a brief period but was expected not to ask many questions, or it would be deemed as too much guidance. Culture does not promote questions 5) Colleagues were absolutely not helpful. Environment that promotes self preservation and protecting one’s job instead of collective growth.

Pros

Pay is good depending on position, and work can be enjoyable.

Cons

Favoritism shown towards certain employees and amongst some employees, and certain managers, management blames employees for being forced to work overtime and being forced to work on Saturdays, gossip, bad work-life balance, near absent communication, high turnover rate, horrible and unreliable JIT always sending in defective parts and components, no individual appreciation for work to everyone except for certain individuals as stated above, high school cliques, and failure by management to inform employees about next week’s schedule.
