Poor management and onboarding, good benefits - Sr. Software Engineer ING Employee Review

Onboarding is extremely slow — I spent almost a month waiting for access and setup before being able to start working. Once I began, daily workflows were inefficient: pull requests were often reviewed at the end of the day, delaying feedback and progress. I was hired as a React Senior Developer but assigned to another framework where I wasn’t senior, and my performance was evaluated as if I were. Communication was inconsistent, and productivity was often judged on perception rather than actual work delivered.
