Pros

Good pay Good benefits Good & healthy food Fed on the job You get all your breaks, they're super serious about not missing them When your store does well & hits their sales goals the company does their best to reward you (they do good too! Been to Disneyland & Knott's Scary Farm on their dime with my coworkers + food and parking covered/paid for by In-N-Out) Good for students, people looking for part time work & people who need to cut down on their food bill Managers do their best to work with your schedule They have a special catalogue for work shoes (I do not recommend getting cheap ones. Use the catalogue). They have a 30% discount across the board but specifically for Doc Martens & Timberlands. Do not get the docs, they look nice but are hell to break in. I got the tims and they lasted me the entire time I worked there, super comfy just switched out the soles for Dr Scholls every 4-6 months. If you move to another city (for school, temporarily, or permanently) the company really does their best to accommodate you and find another store to work at in your new area, or as a temporary transfer (school). You get to keep your pay, position, and benefits when this happens. They do not externally hire management, all managers entered at the lowest rank and had to work their way up. The management I had were always very helpful and understanding with person to person conflict. I told my store manager about a coworker (much older than me & when I was a minor) sexually harassing me and not only did she take care of him, I never saw him at the store again. I had a highschool coworker that was being stalked by a customer and management gave him a VERY harsh talking to & store ban (might have been company wide but I can't say for sure). I had an ex, who had stalked me for a while after we broke up, walk into the store. My manager found me having a panic attack in the back and looked downright excited to drag him and his friends into the parking lot, telling them never to return, of course she also offered to let me take the rest of the day off.

Cons

Really hard to get full time Late policy is incredibly strict. Had multiple write ups while I was there for being 1-5 min late. The computers flag you INSTANTLY SUPER militant. Your uniform has to be perfect, the product has to be perfect, your customer service has to be perfect. YOU have to be perfect No dyed hair, men also have to be kept clean shaven & have to have short hair. No visible tattoos, you just have to cover them though it's not a huge deal. WHITE uniforms, super hard to keep clean, highly recommend oxiclean & SHOUT stain remover. The work pants they give you suck and will not last, recommend Dickies 874 pants in white. Gets very cliquey very fast especially in the LA area. Management is competitive as hell, since there's only a certain number of stores, there's only a certain number of management positions. So it can be hard to break in and favoritism can screw you over Because of stated cliquiness and favoritism, harassment claims against management are difficult...
