Pros
Flexibility and hours are usually good. Gave me great work experience. Helps build resume. Good if your a student.
Cons
The pay isn't fair if you begin in the store, its probably best to come outside into an office position. I began as a cashier at about 7.50 and after about 3 years I moved up to bookkeeper and my ending pay is only 8.50, where as if I came in it would have been way more. Also the bookkeepers should be making about what Customer Service managers make ( since we handle all the money and they just deal with customers and do western unions) I believe it is only fair.
