Pros

- Solid work-life balance - Competitive salary in the data lab (there were big raises in 2022 which might put past concerns regarding salary out of date) - Structured career growth system - Managers understand the product - Great benefits (pension contribution matching, share purchase program, flexible health and dental among others...) - Actual DS work (not just creating dashboards - we create real systems in Python utilizing data to address business needs)

Cons

The only real complaint I have is there is a gap between core business units (your "client") and the data lab. You are often limited to a couple meetings per month with the end-client due to the fact that they are busy with their daily work. This is pretty common in corporate data science, so relative to industry this won't be uncommon and is no worse than any other company.
