Inter Con recruitment team will promise you full time hours you will NOT receive. Right after you finish your training they will inform you that they are “working out the schedule” and a month goes by without an hour worked. GM is a union run company. That says employees rightfully stay at their jobs. I would too. That means the already finite positions are filled. Inter Con does not bother themselves with telling you this. You quit your job on the rig, because an inter con recruiter promised you full time, just to be informed two weeks later there is no work for you. You try to contact your recruiter and will be avoided. If you want to see for yourself keep a part time position at your current job so you are not twisting when all that I stated happens. You are an EMT and not everyone can get the license. You are not a dime a dozen. Don’t let a company treat you like you are.
