Pros

Knowledgeable staff, friendly work environment and interesting opportunity to develop your career overall. Compared to most companies, Intuit is far better for growth, mobility and opportunity.

Cons

As with any company of size and scale, there will be a bit of a challenge as it's a matrix organization with a log of moving parts. That being said, the company does move on a dime in a few key areas, which makes for an exciting and innovative atmosphere. Despite having a great work / life balance overall, you can expect about 10-20% of your teammates emailing any day of the week, and most hours of the day. While I applaud the dedication, I do wish I didn't feel like taking the weekend off from email makes me behind on my job.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
