Pros

Employee benefits are far superior than most other companies' benefits. PTO is fantastic. All the extra benefits (like pet insurance, paid community service, quarterly gifts) makes employees feel very valued... But the best entity that Intuit has is HR Connect. I have never experienced a more helpful, resourceful, motivated group of people than the people in the HR department. They will search the world over for answers to your question and everyone has a very uplifting positive attitude. HR Connect at Intuit is fantastic... Intuit has a very good system for tracking employee achievements. They do often recognize employees who go above and beyond their goals.

Cons

Though they claim to promote diversity they rarely want it. Different teams doing the same job for different departments are like cliques of one type of personality. It's more about fitting in with team members than celebrating diversity. It shouldn't be harder to find social acceptance than to actually do your job... Tuition reimbursement is supposedly $5k, while at many many other companies it is half of that. BUT--Edcor is the company that Intuit uses to reimburse tuition for its employees and it is the single most terrible entity on the face of the planet. I had to withdraw from school for a semester because this partner company makes it unreasonably difficult to be reimbursed tuition.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
