Pros

The scheduling was flexible due to the number amount of employees on staff. You get to see new product early before customers are able to shop for it. You get to see celebrities come and shop on random occasions.

Cons

I wish I would have received more support from the management staff. I have been a sales associate for another retailer, but each store and environment is different. I didn't like the tension and hierarchy, so to speak, amongst those who were "sales associates" and those who were "personal shoppers". We both do the same thing yet personal shoppers are treated as though they are more of an asset to the team and claim territory on the same sales floor. I have been a sales associate just as long as them, I expected to receive the same treatment.

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
