    I worked at J. Crew part-time

    Pros

Friendly environment with management encouraging smiling faces and banter.

    Cons

Too much pressure to bother customers when they have expressed that they do not want help. Too much pressure to open a lot of credit cards. Discount only applies to full price items, so sales usually beat the discount anyway.

I have been working at J. Crew part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The type of cliental as oppose to working for Kmart Walmart Old Navy

    Cons

Additional discounts to students and educators even though JCrew hires lots of Students and Teachers who aren't able to benefit even though the employee discount might not be as good as customers...pretty pathetic, Adult working employee makes same hourly wages as an 18yr old.

    Advice to Management

    Take better care of employees.
