    Pros

    Meeting new people, great deals

    Cons

Your manager can be hell on earth

    Advice to Management

Don't make retail your life; it's not that big of a deal. Also don't micromanage - these people are probably college students just looking to make some money - they're not trying to go into retail forever.

I have been working at J. Crew full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

For retail the training was very well rounded. Hours were very flexible for part timers. Liked the people I workes with.

    Cons

Like most retail hours are not set. You might open one day close the next. No set days off. The original store director was a bit temperamental. Their closing stores so there isn't job sercurity.
