      Pros

      Cool tech, functional programming, the whole shebang. Compensation is competitive with other top companies in the area. Growing quickly, you can tell that there has been significant investment into technology from up top.

      Cons

      Engineering culture is abrasive. Disagreements are natural, but there is a concerning amount of bad-mouthing behind people's backs about technological decisions. There is definitely some unhealthy competition within teams as well as cross-team. I would not say that it is close to Uber levels of bad, but as the company scales at the rate that it has it will MOST DEFINITELY get out of hand. The negatively is contagious and its spread has been visible for some time. Transparency has also gone down significantly since the acquisition and it's unclear what Walmart leadership has planned for certain divisions.

      Pros

      The culture was awesome, with one rule (Be Nice) I loved Jet. We kicked some major #$^^ so much so that Walmart bought us and killed us. We had fun, it was like working at an all night rave music and dancing while we worked. hard to describe, you had to be there.

      Cons

      the pay wasn't the best but the benefits more than made up for it. The insurance was fantastic, the fun we had at work was enough to make up for the lack of pay.
