Pros
LMI's staff at all levels are engaged and truly believe that the work they do advances the functioning of the government. Most everyone is 'professional' in their approach to their work, their responsibilities to coworkers and to clients. The benefits are a little better than "OK" and the work-life balance at least gets some consideration, though not as much as some claim depending on for whom you work. Employer supported activities occur regularly to encourage a positive collegial climate. Many changes soon as company relocates and the structure of the work environment changes dramatically.
Cons
"brain drain" likely as the organization moves from personal offices to an "open office" floor plan and more established/senior employees determine they are unwilling to accept the change.
