Pros

Customers are always grateful to you, some more than others, it feels good to make a difference, the job offers great job satisfaction. And you will feel " proud to serve them ".

Cons

Chaotic schedule that should be banned by the Geneva Convention. Not even war criminals shouls be treated like this. Prisons don't have this schedule. They make you work from 1am to 10am , then they give you some 10am - 7pm. Then 4pm - 1am. Then 8 pm - 5am . Always 6 days in a row but 5 days a week. If you can survive that then you're on pills or something because constantly changing your sleep schedule ruins your biological clock, you're always tired, you can't sleep, no energy on your days off, it's pure torture. But thankfully i have been layed off due to 2 reviews, one was legit was my fault and the other one was a lie. They don't care they always listen to customer feedback and never the interpreter but i moved to a different work place now, with a humane schedule , less work, 10 times easier, same pay. In this game there were winers and losers, and i want to thank LLS for ending my suffering. They lost an interpreter with over 3000 hours and multiple times " Interpreter of the month" to some unexperienced person who will quit after 2 weeks. I guess i won. I feel sorry for them. It's like a stressful but pleasant marriage but a marriage nontheless, and i am sad to go. But i am also happy at the same time because my current "wife" has bigger *coughs*. Advice for newcommers? You're on thin ice, always look for a job always study the job market because that 1 call that can end your contract is around the corner and management doesn't joke around with negative reviews even if the client is in the wrong they will take their word over yours and there's nothing you can do about it. 1 wrong step and you're done, you can be the best, you can have a strait record for years on end, once a couple of bad reviews hit, you're outta there the next second, you're done, out, caput, terminated. Don't even think of getting a loan form the bank these people will throw you out one day like you're nothing. But hey! great opportunity nontheless if you're as crazy as i am and need some bragging rights.

Pros

Providing communications help for health care, insurance, beginning of life, end of life, counseling, IT. Among the highest minutes in the industry. Great record keeping, and pay is only 7 days after the close of every month. The annual training as well as recertification is paid events. Offers relative independence, after several audits, if you comply with excellence in customer service, you are pretty much on your own.

Cons

The minute rate is among the lower side among language companies. Find that while you can gain lots of successful advice from the company bulletin board, but offering advice is often better to those in authority.

Pros

Stay home. That's all. Nothing else.

Cons

Fifteen seconds to recover between stressful calls. The health insurance they offer is super expensive for the poorly paid for hours you get. It does not match. Micromanage everything, constant supervised and not a proper guidance after being pointed the errors of the week. Extreme poorly paid for the higher quality of job that they want. The company charges 3 or 4 dollars for minute, but an interpreter gets paid 15 an hour before taxes. See the difference? Days off unpaid always. Not fair. Not even during sickness, grief or personal emergencies.
