Great Place to learn the field, supportive managers, good and relaxed environment, good overall culture
Cons
Pay/Benefits are not good, It will be a fight for hours, learn what you can and move on. Difficult to get full time hours even if management likes you, upward mobility is not excellent, if you become certified as an optician or learn to benefit the team you will become more useful. However do not think that means anything...you would be much better off using your learned skills somewhere else and will be better compensated for it. Appreciation is low for knowlege/helpfulness and ability to difficult customers. Appreciation will only come with selling a LOT. Even then managers are not very happy. Schedules are crazy!!! They wont post them until the DAY BEFORE you have to work sometimes. How can an employee schedule their life like that?
