You gain a large breadth of experience with optometry tech as well as sales experience with glasses. It's challenging and engaging all the way down.
Cons
Upper management is always breathing down your neck for better sales volume, forcing you to have to grind through customers quickly. Customers range from pleasant, to absurdly challenging. Becomes exhausting quick unless you have a high tolerance for a fast-paced work environment.
