      The people and the work are fine, and you really can learn a lot.

      Cons

      The raises are not based on merit. The annual raises may as well be non-existent and the managers always tell you "this is what corporate has alloted".

      Flexible hours Experienced staff Newer equipment Able to choose music to listen to while in the lab Certification opportunities

      Cons

      Very tight window for expected time on certain in-house jobs. Lab no longer at the Monterey location. Steep learning curve.
