Pros
they have multiple locations in the US if you plan on moving to another city it is not so hard to get employment. They are a very large stable, vertically integrated and rich company so you don't have to worry abput them going under. They basically own the industry. Great way to learn the ropes, properly. Good Educational experience if you ever plan on opening your own optical shop. Gift of site program if you are interested in travel allows you to go to third world countries and help deliver glasses and vision care to the poor.
Cons
Large Corporation. People in management tend to stay a long time so it is very hard to move into better paying positions.
