Not all that healthy for employees - Anonymous employee Life Time Employee Review

Pros

Fast pace environment where you will never get bored. Literally spent every minute of the day working, which for a fast paced and motivated individual is awesome. The hierarchy is pretty flat and you get great exposure to upper tier executives on a daily basis and feel like you actually have ownership in the companies overall direction.

Cons

Time away is literally non-existent. Well, it is, but be ready for a barrage of 600+ need to read emails when you return after a week vacation. Additionally, don't think twice about not staying close to your phone after work. Business leaders expect answers morning, noon, and night which will kill your life outside of work. To top it off, the benefits aren't that great. You get a membership at their middle tier clubs for free (nothing special), the discount for being fit on health care doesn't necessarily start right away (only test when the group policy is about to renew) so you are paying full freight like a fatty, and you get a whopping 10 days off a year for working yourself ragged....that INCLUDES your sick days! Not that healthy after all.

Pros

Members are great and free membership is a perk. Coworkers are supportive.

Cons

You will be micromanaged to death, whether you have three weeks of experience or 20 years. Policies are vague. Communication with leadership is poor. You can be a strong, experienced performer and have very few classes, or brand new and get 8 a week. There appears to be no logic or strategy to anything that happens.
